Installation Method
Detach the helmet visor and wipe it clean.
Position the visor with the pins with seal inside facing upward. At this time, insert one side of the ULOOK anti-fog insert into the pins on the inside of the visor.
After one side of the ULOOK anti-fog is inserted into the pin, slightly unbend the helmet visor by hand until it is flat, insert the other side of the anti-fog sheet into the other pin, and slowly return the helmet lens back to its original curve.
Observe and make sure that the ULOOK silicone seal lining is completely intact on the visor. If there is a gap, please adjust both the pins until the desired fitting is achieved.
Peel off the protective film attached to the ULOOK anti-fog sheet.
Finally, install the visor back on the helmet to complete.
Things to remember
When installing the ULOOK anti-fog insert, please fully flatten/unbend the visor before installation. Installing without unbending may cause damage.
When installing the ULOOK anti-fog insert, clean the visor first, and be careful not to touch the surface inside of ULOOK anti-fog sheet.
Please choose the corresponding ULOOK anti-fog insert. Some models cannot be used commonly.
Never use a hair dryer or lighter if there are any gaps or problems in the lens. Extreme heat can damage the material.
If there’s water droplets stuck between the Visor and the anti-fog insert, gently remove the ULOOK anti-fog insert, use a soft dry cloth to absorb the water/moisture, and let it sit into a clean, dry and ventilated room to let it dry naturally.
If there is a gap or an uneven curve in the silicone lining, please adjust the pins of the lens accordingly. (When the lens is removed from the helmet, the anti-fog sheet may be wider than when it is installed.
Please remove and clean the ULOOK anti-fog insert regularly. If it is intact for a long time, the silicone ring may stick to the visor.
Do not use cleaning products containing abrasives, or solvents containing ammonia, gasoline, thinner, benzine, alcohol, etc. for maintenance.
If the vent of the helmet is closed for a long time, it may cause fogging due to excessive moisture. It must be placed in a ventilated place to air dry and to restore the anti-fogging effect.
Depending on the riding posture of the rider, the silicone ring may be visible in the field of vision.
The principle of the Photochromic anti-fog sheet is to absorb ultraviolet rays from the sun and stimulate the molecules of the Photochromic anti-fog sheet to change its color. (Due to the different UV resistance levels of various helmet lenses manufacturers, the amount of UV that enters the Photochromic anti-fog sheet is different, and the color depth will vary)
Cleaning Method
Use a soft cloth/microfiber cloth, dipped or sprayed with an appropriate amount of alcohol to gently wipe it clean.
(Do not use a rough cloth to clean the surface of the Anti-fog sheet, as it can leave scratches on the sheet).
